Donald Trump won on Tuesday night. And in response, as you may have also witnessed on Facebook and in the streets of NY, Chicago and LA, Hillary voters have taken upon themselves to insult Trump voters and brand them with various insulting adjectives, such as ignorant, uneducated, racist, etc. In fact, however, the only thing they have to blame is themselves, the DNC and Barack Obama. When your candidate loses EVERY battle ground state, and then some, and then states that had not voted Republican in 30 years, you should look inwards instead of insulting and name calling those who voted against Hillary.
First, let’s look at the election process itself. It was the DNC which created a rigged system and forced Clinton on half of the Democratic electorate, stopping at nothing, even feeding debate questions in advance to Hillary. It was the DNC which cheated to favor a corrupt candidate under FBI investigation with a 40% trustworthiness in all polls. As internal emails by WikiLeaks shows, the Democrats were of course fully aware of the ethical deficiencies, shortcomings and challenges of Hillary. While it is true that ultimately the former head of the DNC—Debbie Wasserman Schultz—was later forced to resign (only after Wikileaks revelations and only to be replaced by another Hillary implant who had given her debate questions in advance), that was a remedy too little too late which could not, and did not, cure the injustice to Bernie voters—or their frustration.
Even before the election, however, the warning signs were there for the Democrats since at least 2010 that America was building up a frustration of Obama forcing extreme policies on the people against their will. It was Obama and his Democratic colleagues who passed Obamacare through deceit, and forced a still unpopular law on the American people–and continue, to date, to arrogantly defend it while it collapses under its own weight. It was Obama who unconstitutionally signed the Iran nuclear deal which the majority of American people and the US Congress opposed. It was under Obama’s excessive tax and regulation that we have seen the slowest growth for eight years since WWII, fueling the Trump vote in the historically Democrat mid-western states. It was Obama who ridiculed the Middle-America as “those who cling to their guns and religion” just as they witnessed their jobs disappear into other countries. It was Obama who the majority of Americans consider incompetent in foreign policy, be it dismissing ISIS as the JV team or handing Syria and Ukraine to Russia. It was Obama’s IRS which targeted conservative groups before the 2012 election with no consequences whatsoever.
Democrats ignored the warning signs when the Tea Party was created and took over the House in 2010, just two years after Obama’s presidency. They ignored when Americans repudiated Obama’s policies in 2014 by handing to Republicans historically large margins in both the House and the Senate. On Tuesday night, as they lost state after state after state, they should not have been surprised.
